Our Partnership

Alongside my amazing husband, Tony, and our five children, I have been able to fulfill my passion of advocacy and awareness for congenital heart disease and stroke through my platform "Stroke of Insight."

In February 2021, I was named Mrs. Illinois International 2021 First Runner Up. Then due to the former Mrs. resigning I took the title of Mrs. Illinois International 2021 and became part of the International legacy. I had the honor of being crowned Mrs. Midwest International 2022 so I can walk the national stage and share my advocacy work! This was my opportunity to bring my platform STROKE of Insight to a larger stage. It was an honor to be chosen alongside some amazing competitors.

As I prepare to compete in the Mrs. International 2022 pageant on next July, my work for my mission continues. I will be participating in both local, national, and global events, collaborating and communicating with cardiologists worldwide, and most importantly working with the amazing physicians and staff of the PICS Society as the Senior Patient Advisor. This allows me to continue my work advocating for those born with congenital heart disease and stroke survivors like myself. Together we can save lives because there are Power in Numbers!

Power In Numbers! Part 3

I am a survivor! God saved me to raise these beautiful boys and fulfill my "why" as a survivor. To help create awareness for those born with CHD and survivors of stroke.

And here come your...Chicago Luvabulls

As a dancer for the Chicago Bulls, I exercised several times a week at practice and games. I never knew why my chest felt so heavy when I was on the court. If I knew then that I had a congenital heart defect, I may not have had my storke. However, my stroke chose me, but I choose how to respond and that is by working my mission!

Natalie Poli, Ed.S

In May 2020, I finished my doctorate degree. I am officially an Education Specialist - Educational Leadership and Administration. Because of minimally invasive procedures like the one I had, and the techniques the PICS Society advocates for, I am able to live life to its fullest and obtaining a higher level degree was part of that. I am excited to share my knowledge as an Instructional Coach in a school district.
